A major research study performed by the Foundation for Vertebral Subluxation and Lead Investigator Amy Haas DC, Ph.D. has completed the most thorough review of the literature on the role of chiropractic and vertebral subluxation on the immune system in the history of the profession.
Haas outlines a theoretical model for how a chiropractic adjustment can impact the immune system. She states:
(the study) contributes to the practice of evidence-informed chiropractic care, driving advances in patient-centered care by establishing a compendium and analysis of studies for consideration by the chiropractic field practitioners as they navigate patient care.
The study focused on the improvement of physical indicators of well-being and adaptability such as blood pressure, heart rate variability, and sleep, potential benefits that may be facilitated through multiple neurologically mediated pathways.

Amazon recently announced a service that allows existing Amazon Prime members to purchase its One Medical service for only $99 per year. Members can now access virtual and in-person health services for a relatively small fee.
Amazon is looking to add even more services in the future. Could we see a mass purchase to chiropractic offices soon?
